ECH Elektrochemie Halle GmbH serves as the headquarters of the ECH Group and was founded in 1992 by Dr. Michael Hahn.
Dr. Hahn and his team soon developed the world’s first automated coulometric Karl Fischer test, a gas extraction method for gas chromatography, and a series of analytical analyzers for AOX (adsorbable organic halogens), EOX (extractable organic halogens), and POX (washable organic halogens).
